Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Stewardship and Alumni Engagement Coordinator will conceive, plan, and implement programs, events, communications, activities, processes and procedures related to donor and alumni engagement. Donor engagement will focus on donor recognition and appreciation programs designed to demonstrate the impact that donors have on the people and programs of George School. Donor engagement will include the development and implementation of communications, events, programs and strategies that are appropriate to each level of giving.

Working with the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations on alumni engagement, the Coordinator helps develop and implement multi-channel communications, stimulating events and outcome-focused programs that are intended to keep alumni informed about and involved with George School, while deepening alumni pride and affiliation. The Coordinator will help identify and manage alumni volunteers who will help build, manage and promote the alumni program; work collaboratively with all members of Advancement Office, faculty and staff across various departments, and committee volunteers to maximize donor and alumni engagement.

 
Position Requirements

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and one-year professional office experience preferred.

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse community. Self-starter, highly motivated.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and familiarity with database functionality and portal management.
