Matheson Flight Extenders is looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Handler.

Matheson Flight Extenders specializes in terminal handling and ground support services for the United States Postal Service (USPS) and other commercial carriers. Today we serve 16 cities across the United States.

Warehouse Handlers are responsible for reading work orders and following oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, by hand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Warehouse Handlers must ensure timeliness; packaging, routing, and systems work is completed accurately and timely
  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
  • Ensure safe work environment
  • Participates in stand up activities
  • Completes tasks by following pre-established procedures
  • Follows detailed and defined instructions
  • Applies basic skills and may develop advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriate for the position
  • Must be flexible in "timely" transactions when moved to different work areas throughout the day
  • Resolves task-related problems in straightforward situations
  • Must be able to adhere to productivity goals
  • Read and interpret documents such as pick tickets and drop off, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Preferably Forklift certified, regular Forklift operation and pallet jack experience

Scope and Accountability: Completes routine, repetitive, and/or standardized tasks; emphasis is typically on manual skills. Applies basic skills and may develop advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriate for the positions.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screening, physical and functional capacity exam
  • Clear a 10-year background check
  • Be able to repetitively lift up to 70 pounds
  • Have authorization to work in the United States
  • 3-6 Months Cargo Warehouse Experience
  • 3-6 Months Forklift Experience


  • Computer Skills
  • Ability to use electronic hand held devices
  • Proficient with email/calendar management and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Able to complete on-filing, basic printing/faxing/scanning

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related

experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

MONDAY: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

TUESDAY: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

WEDNESDAY: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

THURSDAY: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

FRIDAY: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

SATURDAY: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
SUNDAY: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
