By working in partnership with accounting and operations the BMC Operations Analyst analyzes operational and product costs, evaluates new or changing operations, and computes costs of new products for various sand mining and coating production facilities to ensure BMC is a low-cost provider of silica sand to the industries we serve. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor's Degree (BA) in business related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management) or Engineering (Mining, Systems, Industrial, Process) Masters of Business Administration (MBA) desired Minimum of ten years of experience and five years of cost analysis experience in a manufacturing environment required. CMA designation a plus Strategic thinker with strong analytical/problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively collaborate with associates throughout the organization. Leadership skills with the ability to be work effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize conflicting demands to meet deadlines. Ability to be extremely organized, results driven, with the ability to handle diverse projects concurrently. Strong technical skills, with advanced modeling and MS Excel skills. Ability to exercise independent judgment to perform essential duties. Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to present information in various ways and to various audiences effectively.
