Description

The candidate will support a major Risk Management Framework (RMF) effort including Security Control Compliance, Control Validation Testing, RMF Automation, and System Categorization. Employees will assist organizations with execution of the Risk Assessment (RA) Process and be responsible for assisting them through Assessment & Authorization activities. The employee provides training and support to the local ISSM, technical assistance with the risk management framework (RMF) process, assistance in preparing risk assessments, and other A&A documentation.

Selected candidate will be responsible for day-to-day effective execution of Cybersecurity duties including:

  • Complete required reports for a risk decision from the site ISSM or DHA AO
  • Ability to create and maintain RMF Steps 1-3 documentation, or Rapid ATO
  • Compliance scan reviews
  • POA&M monitoring to ensure projected milestones are met or extensions are submitted prior to POA&M item expiration
  • Ensure all MTF owned systems are properly registered in eMASS and all RMF related documents are stored in the repository
  • Provide compliance monitoring and guidance for all MTF assets within the Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) system
  • Prepare and present cybersecurity related briefings as directed
  • Participate in meetings and program reviews to support the implementation of DHA initiatives, goals and objectives
  • Provide on-the-job training to Government and military personnel on DHA policies and procedures required to create RMF package. This is not formal training, but informal site training
  • Provide timeline management for cybersecurity related initiatives
  • Provide technical assistance for DoD cybersecurity scorecard reporting
  • Complete trip reports for each trip taken
  • Submit weekly status/activity report to the Contract PM
 
Position Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and in possession of a Secret Clearance
  • Must have a passport and be willing to travel to OCONUS DoD locations
  • Preferred DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level III compliant Professional Certification
  • Minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience with DoD directives, Instructions and Guidance i.e. DIACAP / RMF for DoD IT (DOD 8510.01, DOD 8500.01) is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with DHA information systems is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading small teams performing security vulnerability assessments and other RMF processes
  • Must have demonstrated experience in a position demanding strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to: read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulatory requirements; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Have a working knowledge of eMASS, CMRS, SharePoint, ACAS, SCAP, and DISA STIGs
