Will provide administrate oversight of the facility's nursing services, and where appropriate, directly supervise the facility's nursing staff. Assist the administrator of the facility in the development and maintenance of written objectives, policies and procedures, and organizational plan, and a quality assurance program for nursing services, and review of all nursing policies and procedures at least annually. Provide direct patient care services to program participants. Essential Functions: Assisting the administrator and the governing authority of the program, in planning and budgeting for nursing services. Ensure the coordination and integration of nursing services with other client care services to optimize continuity of care for each consumer. Ensure the program complies with required nursing staffing patterns. Provide direct patient care services to program participants. Provides after hours emergency on call telephone coverage to consumers and their families on a rotational basis Other Duties: Assists in the development of written job descriptions for the nursing staff, and assigning duties of the nursing staff. Participates in staff orientation and staff education activities when applicable. Participates in team conferences with the multidisciplinary team Documents all services provided to consumers, and ensures nursing staff documentation is completed in accordance with program and regulatory standard. SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: Provides clinical and administrative supervision to the program's complement of nursing staff   Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: RN licensed to practices in the State of New Jersey. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience or three years of experience in a substance abuse treatment program or facility.
