This effort involves activities associated with a wide range of assistance services to support requirements for NSTID training of biometrics systems for deploying Soldiers. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform logistics management operations that include planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support specified missions. Plan, manage, and coordinate the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for assigned systems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement and quality assurance into logistics activities. Collaborate and plan with appropriate personnel to coordinate and/or execute operations. Utilize the Army automated logistics tracking systems. Ensure property accountability is performed, Ship equipment to/from training location. Ensure equipment shipped in support of training events is properly tracked to and from the training location. Ensure equipment removed from the storage location is accounted for through the use of a temporary hand receipt, IAW AR 73-5, AR 710-2 and DA Pam 721-1-1. Ensure new equipment received is properly added to the primary hand receipt. Ensure equipment turn-in is properly accounted for, removed from the primary hand receipt, and the Property Book Officer is appropriately notified.
