Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required. CPR and first aid certificates required within 30 days of hire. TB test required. Applicant will be required to undergo a successful DHSS criminal background and fingerprint check, prior to employment. Driving is a requirement of this position and applicant must be at least 21 years old, possess a current Alaska Driver’s License, have been a licensed driver for at least three years, and provide Agency with proof of current Auto Insurance Coverage and successful State Motor Vehicle “Full History” Driver’s Report, prior to employment.
Minimum Experience: 1-year experience with overall office organization and clerical duties preferred. 1-year experience working with young children and families preferred. Experience working with people with disabilities and from various cultural backgrounds also preferred.

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, publisher, spreadsheets and other applications.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform sedentary and active work that requires some lifting, carrying, and getting on and off the floor. Visual acuity necessary to utilize a computer monitor throughout the course of a normal workday. Ability to perform repetitive keyboarding activities and operate general office equipment.
Working Conditions: Work is primarily performed at the REACH office but also requires traveling in the community as needed.
