What are we looking for in a Mental Health Worker/Case Manager?
Mental Health Worker / Case Managers provide care, support, and a safe living environment for individuals residing within our 24-hour inpatient and residential facilities. Mental Health Worker / Case Managers provide supportive counseling and skills development through individual or group sessions to assist clients with stabilizing symptoms and learning illness management skills. This position is part of an interdisciplinary team that provides individualized, trauma-informed treatment in collaboration with the client’s natural support systems to help ensure a smooth transition to community outpatient treatment. This role is best suited to someone who communicates effectively, remaining supportive and empathetic during challenging situations, and who values teamwork and collaboration in working toward the goal of improving the lives of the individuals we serve. A general understanding of behavioral health issues is helpful for this position.
Stepping Stone is a twelve bed facility that serves adult residents with chronic and/or acute mental illness who need the structure and support of a 24-hour transitional group living situation. Residents are actively involved in the responsibilities of home management including cooking, cleaning, and decision making about house programs and problems. Stepping Stone residents are also taught skills that enable them to seek volunteer or paid positions in the community. Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12am-10am & Monday 2pm-12am
Two Rivers Landing is a state of the art, short-term residential place of healing for youth aged 11-17 who are in crisis. The program provides crisis stabilization, evaluation, and treatment for up to sixteen youth (male or female) and utilizes an established trauma-informed, evidence-based model of care. An integrated team of professionals provides individualized care and a comprehensive discharge plan that emphasizes community resources and family support. Schedule (2 positions): Wednesday-Sunday OR Friday-Tuesday 3pm-11pm
Mental Health Worker/Case Manager duties may include:
Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED.
Professional Credentials: Eligible for Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration
Other Requirements: First Aid/CPR Certification, Food Handler's Permit, Driver's License, Vehicle Liability Insurance
