Description Maintain all appropriate safety regulations of the crew and construction site, Oversee the quality of the work performed by the construction crew, Maintain the timely completion of work, maintain high quality work practices, maintain and adapt to work needs of the crew, maintain open communications with crew, and provide direction to the crew for the completion of jobs.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT NECESSARILY BE LIMITED TO:
• Ensure all appropriate personal protective equipment is used by crew members
• Ensure construction site has proper warning signs and channeling devices to guide motorists safely through work area
• Ensure on-site flaggers have a current MUTCD compliant card and an audible warning signal (whistle or horn)
• Provide safety instructions for crew members regarding proper use of new or existing equipment
• Provide safety instructions for crew members regarding excavations and shoring
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free construction site
• Maintain all WTC depth standards for installation of cable and ducts
• Ensure minimal impact to area surrounding construction site
• Provide complete and accurate prints in a timely manner
• Ensure restoration is held to proper high standards
• Oversee individual and team efficiency – instruct and guide as needed
• Ensure safety is first priority
• Ensure housekeeping and vehicle maintenance standards are met at all times
• Ensure crew is appropriate in dress and appearance for jobs
• Teach and maintain positive attitude with public as well as within the crew(s)
• Assist the crew as needed to complete jobs in a timely manner
• Continue to develop new skills while remaining positive towards work duties
• Increase performance level with new skill development and experience
• Maintain ability to work in all varieties of situations and with various types of customers in a positive manner
• Recognize potential problems and resolve in a safe and timely manner
• Ask supervisor for clarification and advice as needed
• Convey requirements for completion of job to the crew members
• Instruct crew members on WTC requirements to successfully complete jobs
 
Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• The Minimum Requirements of a Construction Laborer – Knowledge and Physically
• Ability to lift 70# frequently
• Flagging Card and expert level of knowledge regarding work zone safety requirements including protective equipment, signage and safe equipment usage
• Expert knowledge and experience regarding safe excavations and shoring
• Level of Knowledge of WTC depth standards for cable and ducts
• Experience completing accurate site prints
• Level of Expertise with Work Flow in Construction
• Demonstrated ability to adapt, and learn new skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Training experience and flexibility to adapt to the needs of crew members
• Valid WA State driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a commercial (CDL) license
• Background check required
• Pre-employment and on-going random drug screens
• Ability to be a positive team member in a fast paced environment
• Must be eligible to work in the USA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Landscaping, construction or general laborer experience
