Share Email Opening Title CSU Peer Specialist  Description The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a Peer Specialist full or part time in the Crisis Stabilization Unit. The incumbent will assist in providing 1:1 peer support and curriculum development, co-facilitating recovery groups and assisting peers in the development of WRAP plans.   Position Requirements The individual hired for this position will demonstrate an awareness of mental health issues, knowledge of human development and will possess the ability to form and maintain relationships with consumers, community service providers and staff. Must possess certifications as a Peer Specialist and a WRAP trainer.  Associates degree in human services or related field with one year’s experience in a peer support role  preferred.  Must have basic computer skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team in a fast paced crisis environment. The individual hired for this position must have had personal experience receiving mental health and or co-occurring services for a severe mental illness.     Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Open Date 8/23/2017   Close Date 10/13/2017   About the Organization Join the Fearless!
