Description

This individual will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing of all manual and automated production equipment/machines for all business units. This is an exciting and powerful opportunity.

Duties include but are not limited to: Troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance (PM’s) of all production equipment, general plant facilities-water, air, and electric, general HVAC responsibilities. This position also requires the ability to have very positive direct interface with internal customers on a daily basis. The qualified candidate will manage and perform electrical-mechanical repairs, maintenance and special projects. This position is very challenging with a variety of daily responsibilities.

 
Position Requirements

• We would prefer a candidate that has an Electrical-Mechanical degree (AAS) or Automated Manufacturing degree (AAS), however other education and experience will be taken into consideration.• Experience with equipment operating at 5VDC through 480VAC Three Phase systems • Able to troubleshoot and repair production equipment as required• Understand the basic principles of troubleshooting and be proficient at reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical prints used for troubleshooting as related to manufacturing production equipment •Must have basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems as related to troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing production equipment. • The preferred qualified candidate should be trained in and familiar with NFPA 70E with an excellent track record having demonstrated good safe work practices• The candidate should have experience having worked successfully with vendor/supplier relationships •. Proven track record of attention to detail, good follow thru and effective resolution to problems • Requires the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast paced- high demanding environment • Ability to prioritize and make appropriate decisions • Self starter and a team player • Able to communicate effectively, in a professional manner with customers/suppliers and co-workers. • Communicate using verbal and written skills in ways that honor diversity. • Practice safe work habits. • The candidate must have the ability to work from elevated platform surfaces •Ability to lift 50 lbs • Must have valid Driver’s License
