About the Job

The Contracts Manager manages all aspects of the aircraft sale from execution through delivery and clearing of post-delivery obligations

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact related to all commercial aspects of the aircraft acquisition and delivery process
• Support Sales Department’s efforts with customer prospects
• Manage each new or pre-owned Purchase Agreement under respective responsibility
• Pre-Sale Agreement presentation, negotiation and execution
• Proposal Analysis preparation and executive approval management
• Purchase Agreement presentation, incorporate negotiation changes, obtain internal approvals, and presentation of revised Purchase Agreement to customer
• Coordinate execution of final Purchase Agreement
• Purchase Agreement Abstract review and approval as well as managing updates, when required
• Participate in prospect meetings to explain the specification, completion, and delivery process
• Participate in customer specification development meetings and final specification review prior to release of initial issue and ensure that all contractual obligations that need to be included in the completion specification are defined
• Work authorization of all Change Requests for work in process aircraft
• Obtain costs and schedule from Production and/or Dassault Service Center and develop a proposal for customer requested changes
• Amendment and Assignment preparation, negotiation and execution
• Ensure all workflows and processes are followed and milestones met from Pre-Sale Agreement through Post-Delivery including clearing of squawks & collection of holdbacks through the Document Management System
• Inform upper management when milestones appear as though they will not be met prior to reaching critical mass and propose recommended action plan
• Interface with escrow agent in filing FAA documents and International Registry filings and consents
• Coordinate Post Delivery Questionnaire customer responses
 
Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 7 years of prior experience in proposal presentation and management, cost/price/financial analysis and contract negotiations preferably in the general/corporate aviation industry or defense industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, executives and key stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat software
• Advanced analytical, problem solving and math skills
• Demonstrated experience thriving in a high volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed (typically 20%)
• Experience in or knowledge of the corporate aviation industry are strongly preferred, especially knowledge of the Falcon Aircraft Product Line
• Experience with DocuSign software preferred
• Experience using a Document Management System a plus
• Fluency in French and/or other languages helpful, but not required
