To keep all production areas clean by cleaning and maintaining the areas in accordance with approved quality and cleaning procedures. Serves as the lead person on the shift, assigns work to other cleaning employees and verifies the work is completed. Ensure that Cleaner employees are cleaning the facility per SOP's Ensure that overhead areas are clean and free of dust, product, cobwebs, etc. Ensure that chemical concentration of solutions, temperatures of solution, and flow rates are documented. Ensure that the proper chemical is dispensed in the correct amount for specific cleaning tasks. Maintain the Master Cleaner Schedule by completing the documentation and editing periodically. Respond to inspection findings from internal and external inspections. Ensure compliance with all GMP, Safety Procedures, Company Policies, Quality Policies, PSM program and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points as applicable. Operate floor scrubber, hand lifts to transport materials as needed. Other duties, as assigned, such as completing work orders for item repairs.

Position Requirements High School diploma or equivalent experience. Must be able to communicate in English. Food plant experience preferred. Responsible for operating floor scrubbing equipment, pressure washer and dry ice cleaner. Chemical safety training . Requires an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and ability to observe and correct unsatisfactory conditions.
