Direct Residential Sales Associate

Conducts face to face in-home sales presentations of the highest standards to new and existing HTC customers. Displays the ability to identify customer needs and match with appropriate products or services. Demonstrates strong understanding of all HTC consumer products, features and benefits. Projects a professional image and adhere to company standards and brand. Provides customers with accurate and complete information at all times. Enters sales orders on a timely basis and follow all guidelines regarding the safekeeping/transport of documentation. Handles all customer interactions in a professional and ethical manner. Attends sales meetings and training sessions as directed by management. Achieves established sales goals on a consistent basis. Builds long-term customer relationships. Works with leadership and Marketing to develop prospect/lead list. Must be able to work with other HTC departments to provide quality customer experiences. Follows up with all customers after installation to ensure customer satisfaction and determine any additional customer needs. Provides competitive information gained in the field to Marketing, Retail Sales, and Customer Service for analysis. Assists in other areas of the Customer Operations Department as needed. Performs other duties as assigned in order to meet the overall objectives of the department.

Position Requirements Experience: Minimum of two years related experience required. Individual preferred with proven retail or direct sales experience. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.

Job Knowledge: Must be a self-starter that is motivated by success. Possesses a positive, can-do attitude with strong customer focus. Must have a stable work history. Maintains proper appearance/attitude at all times while representing HTC within the community. Must have good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate value. Must be proficient with basic mathematical functions. Must have basic personal computer skills such as electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. including MS Products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. Must have ability to quickly learn to work with internal systems to include, but not limited to, SOS, Ceridian, POS, Scheduling, RTS Repair Ticking System, and Apply. Must possess personal mobile phone device. Individual must have proficient time management skills and ability to prioritize. Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have strong reasoning skills to resolve problems and/or answer questions from customers. Individual with bi-lingual skills is a plus.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk for extensive periods of time, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, talk, hear, and lift up to 25 pounds. Vision Requirements: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) A no other special vision requirements. Working Conditions: Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation with moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic). Outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, etc.) Outdoors but in an enclosed vehicle protected from extreme weather conditions. May work near moving mechanical parts. Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.

Special Demands: Must have a valid state driver's license. Must comply with and maintain compliance with motor vehicle record guidelines as listed within the Background Investigation Guidelines. Must have reliable transportation/vehicle where applicable. Must comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to management and/or Human Resources. Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental, interdepartmental and corporate goals. Identifies team goals and ways to work with other team members to accomplish team goals. Recognize the need for trust and dependability in a team environment. Must be a self-starter and motivator. Prioritizes and handles multiple tasks simultaneously. Work schedule requirements may consist of evening and weekend requirements. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and
