Share Email Opening Title Security Technician I  Description FoxGuard Solutions is looking for a full-time Security Technician to join our Validation and Tech Support Team. This is a great entry level position where one can grow within the company- additional opportunities include technical writing and entry level technical support. You will be responsible for testing deployment of updates as well as validating and documenting results. Your technical ability will shine through in this current opening. This position requires a high attention to detail with extreme level of reliability and trust. You will be expected to work both independently and with a variety of team members. What you’ll be doing… Interpret detailed technical information included in release notes as it relates to patch/update versioning Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues including integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in an efficient and timely manner Analyze and report on project data Execute the following aspects of the validation cycle Perform backup and restores Run hash test Perform validation procedure as requested by Technician II and III Inspect shipment (scope limited to final package inspection) What you’ll bring to the table… High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year related work experience or relevant certifications (e.g., Net+, Security+) Good technical writing skills Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, planning and organization skills The ideal candidate will have: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
