The Technical Marketing Engineer will work cross-functionally with a focus on guaranteeing stellar customer experiences for our automotive over-the-air (OTA) software update product line. Selected candidate will clearly articulate the technical differentiators of our products internally / externally and also work with the Product Management teams to continually improve the products. This position will be located in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales and product management in the pre-sales process as the technical subject matter expert.
  • Work with a cross-functional team of product managers and engineers on technical RFPs
  • Support customers in post-sales and providing troubleshooting as needed.
  • Build and maintain setup for demonstrations on-site, online and at trade shows.
  • Create design guides, troubleshooting guides, evaluation guides, application notes, product data sheets, technical white papers, presentations, videos and demonstrations for our products and solutions
  • Support marketing in product launch activities
  • Work closely with both engineering and marketing
 
Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • 5+ years of technical industry experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer, or as a Software Engineer with customer engagement experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the automotive industry preferred
  • Experience with direct customer engagement and responses.
  • Technically, an expert who thrives when learning new areas.
  • Flexible in terms of working hours and travel activities to support customers globally.
  • Proven record of working cross-functionally.
  • Extensive customer and field experience is a must.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge & experience automotive
