Document Imaging Scanning Specialist

Under the supervision of the Document Management Manager, the Scanning Specialist will be responsible for scanning and indexing documents. Will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance, compliance, and production metrics.


1. Responsible for scanning, indexing, and verifying records accurately.

2. Maintain accurate records including quality assurance, conversions, and tracking of documents.

3. Ability to perform work at established production rates.

4. Perform minor scanner setup adjustments.

5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Computer literate.
• Must possess basic math skills (i.e. adding, subtracting, etc.).
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, co-workers and supervisors (verbal and written).
• Must encompass professional demeanor.
• Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret instructions, gain knowledge and have initiative.
• Ability work with individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required: One (1) year verifiable work experience in an administrative or clerical role.
