EHS Technologies seeks a Senior Environmental Specialist to provide hazardous waste (HW) support for management and movement of HW in accordance with GSA AFCEC BPA, associated HW Plans and The Hazardous Waste Generators guide for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. A qualified candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience with the following: -Management/accomplishment of curbside pickup and the 90-day Hazardous Waste Accumulation Point -Monitoring and tracking hazardous materials -Administration requirements of the EESOH-MIS database -Hazardous Waste Operation, Industrial Recycling processes, and Compliance Assistance  Visits -Transporting HW generated from the Dix area from IAPS to the TSDF/central storage facility -Performing and documenting weekly inspections of each centralized storage location at McGuire and Dix, and daily inspections of the 90-day accumulation point at Lakehurst and maintaining logs as required. -Inspecting HW containers, fire protection equipment, water supply, spill and decontamination equipment, communications equipment and alarm systems. -Conducting an annual compliance assessment at each/HW customer storage facility during the performance of the call order. Additional Requirements: Completed OSHA 1910.120, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training or equivalent.
