Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Must be able to pass a Background Screening.
- Current active Driver’s License and demonstrated knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
- Experience with sprayers/paint guns preferred.
- Basic knowledge of use of wrenches, drills and power tools.
Must be physically capable of operating various equipment, including but not limited to; crane, forklift, power washer, generator and other power and hand tools.
- Related shop or warehousing experience preferred.
- Forklift and/or Crane Operator Permits preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, stay on task and follow directions.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to wear and work effectively with respirator.
- High level of integrity and work ethic
Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate specific task information effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Must have manual dexterity to operate power and manual tools.
Must be able to climb ladders and maintain 3 points of contact with equipment.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Office Location and Travel:
This position is located in Warren, MI.
Working Environment & Conditions
This position is indoors and outdoors, consistent with a warehouse position and has a noise level of mostly moderate to high. The incumbent is required to operate necessary tools, machinery, or equipment and will require extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions including lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 50 pounds. This position requires frequent bending, stooping and climbing. The incumbent will use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
