Responsible for ensuring that all service from kitchen to table is performed in a smooth, efficient and prompt manner providing the highest standard of Guest dining service in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures' specifications and standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for the prompt pickup and delivery of food items to Guests.
Ensure all final food preparation are in compliance with Corporate Commission standards.
Responsible for restocking and cleaning and tearing down the front line and bar areas.
Responsible for all communication between kitchen line and customer service line.
Participate as a team member with Servers, Cooks, Supervisors and any pertinent Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures' Associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of Guest Services.
Responsible for promoting positive Guest Relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.
Dishwashing responsibilities including doing dishes, cleaning and organizing the dishwashing area
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or pass the basic skills assessment.
One (1) year bar / restaurant experience or successful completion of a Grand Casino Food and Beverage training program required. (If applicable)
Must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR'S).
Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations. Must be able to read, interpret and apply instructions and technical terminology furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to:
Talk and hear;
See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision;
Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch and/or crawl;
Handle objects, tools and controls; reach with arms and hands.
Lift and/or move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly exposed to:
A low-to-moderate noise level (offices).
A moderate-to-loud noise level (public areas).
Second-hand cigarette/cigar smoke.
Moving mechanical and/or electrical components.
Chemical solutions such as cleaning, and polishing compounds.
