In this role, you will have the opportunity to focus on strategic tactics to improve employee relations and strengthen our culture. You will also be in charge of analyzing the current employee benefit options and creating a dynamic benefits strategy.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will influence a team of HR professionals and build strategic relationships with both field and corporate partners to drive results.

Your Talents:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance for Human Resources Business Partners and Human Resources Coordinator.
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to improve employee benefit programs, direct processing of benefit claims, and develop competitive benefits strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment and labor laws. Maintain current knowledge of Federal and State employment laws.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize attrition and create strategy to retain employees.
  • Analyze current employee engagement levels and implement methods for improving overall employee satisfaction.
  • Provide partnership with field leaders to coach through employee relations and policy interpretation.
  • Serve as ambassador for employee culture.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development, Recruiting, and Payroll departments to build effective inter-department collaboration efforts.
  • Develop strong working relationship with the Loss Prevention department to support investigations and provide appropriate resolutions.
  • Assess relevance of current policies and update as appropriate.

Position Requirements

Your Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Benefits experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in HR or related field.
  • SPHR/PHR certification preferred.
  • Strong business and people acumen, with ability to influence business leaders at an executive level.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
