Duties & Responsibilities
Assist master and journeyman plumbers and gas fitters with laying pipe, drilling holes and threading and hanging piping
Assist with the assembly, installation and repair of plumbing, water flow and drainage systems in accordance with city, state and federal plumbing codes
Duties may include digging trenches for new pipeline or installing new hardware in residential, commercial and industrial locations
Re-light any gas fired appliances where necessary following pressure testing and inspections
Qualifications
Must have excellent math skills, manual dexterity and the ability to use the tools of the plumbing trade including plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws and general carpentry hand tools such as hammers, measuring tape, levels and screwdrivers
Must be able to take and follow precise orders from their supervisors.
The ability to listen carefully and communicate effectively
Valid unrestricted Driver's License
Safety Certifications
