Description SUMMARY:
Responsible for conducting Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA) duties as assigned. Ensuring a high level of compliance with AML/BSA related laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and Federal regulatory expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Assists in ensuring all required Bank Secrecy Act reporting is conducted in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
Compiles, reviews, and analyzes AML/BSA documents and logs daily.
Performs and documents patron due diligence in accordance with the Title 31 compliance program.
Analyzes leads for suspicious activity, including those generated from any/all available technology, internal logs, surveillance reports, etc.
Issues Title 31 Exception Notices to departments that have AML/BSA deficiencies.
Processes Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) for review by the Title 31 Compliance Officer.
Analyzes Multiple Transaction Logs (MTLs) for accuracy and compliance.
Maintains a working knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act.
Maintains continuing education, and best practices of AML/BSA compliance.
Directs the flow of all confidential documents to the proper individuals within the organization, while always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Assists with AML/BSA investigations for suspicious activities as necessary.
Reports all findings in clear, concise language, and in a timely manner.
Performs special reviews or projects as necessary.
Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in all duties.
Maintains strict confidence in all aspects of the job.
Encourages mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all employees, by setting positive examples at all times.
Assists with department and company training and presentations as needed.
Assists company in identifying processes to improve overall reporting

 
Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
Two years of casino gaming and/or accounting, general office, or related experience.
At least six months of AML/BSA or regulatory related experience, preferred.
Ability to keep pace in a results-oriented environment.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Windows based computer knowledge required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial and gaming related documents.
Ability to write reports and correspondences.
Ability to speak effectively with other members of the organization.
Ability to respond to common inquiries from internal/external guests.
Ability to work and communicate with cross-functional teams and various levels of the Accounting and Management staff.
ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS:
Must be well organized
Must meet daily and weekly deadlines
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING SKILLS:
Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished within written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of the job.
Hear and talk
See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision.
Stand, walk, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, reach, and or crawl
Hand/arm dexterity to use a keyboard, mouse, 10-key calculator, and a variety of other office equipment.
Lift or move objects weighing up to (50) pounds.
TRAVEL:
No off-site travel is required in order to complete normal day-to-day job duties.
Some in-state and/or out-of-state continuing education training may be required. This may include air travel.
