Description
  • Maintain responsibility and oversight over performance of work, to ensure it is performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in contract compliance, serving as main POC for project problems and solutions.
  • Maintain effective communications with the Government regrading current status of supported projects.
  • Report to the Government management regarding potential/actual performance problems, including verbal and written reports, as well as monthly program review meetings to cover all aspects of project operations.
  • Provide operational and program management support, assist and support Government initiatives, such as capturing, consolidating, and analyzing management requirements.
  • Collect, research, analyze, organize, draft, document, and present briefings, reports, papers, or other deliverables, as required for review and presentation.
  • Publish and maintain current copies of all supporting documents (i.e. roles and responsibilities, business rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), travel schedules, access letters, checklists, briefings, ad-hocs (to include programming code/documentation), ad-hoc summaries, POC lists and anything else used to support the contract).
  • Provide maturation support; analyze, research, recommend, and draft documents consistent with AFMS policies regarding patient registration, business processes, and configuration controls.
  • Support working groups/Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)/other MHS and/or AF efforts/forums to address the various intra-related system aspects of DEERS, Uniform Business Office (UBO), medical records management, patient registration, patient identity, medical record tracking and retirement, billing, enrollment, labs, etc. to better document and support enterprise solutions and policies.
  • Actively coordinate with those involved in the design, development, test, implementation, deployment, and operation of the CHCS, AHLTA, and related MHS products.
  • Develop, recommend, and document training topics and procedures; patient registration procedures, business rules and policy guidance; AHLTA/CHCS data and systems restrictions; and end-user documentation for standardization.
  • Document, analyze, recommend, and support automation of monthly Data Quality Analysis and Metrics Reporting, Progress Reports and other documents as required.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and calls related to technical AHLTA/CHCS issues; attend and conduct training at monthly and quarterly regional Health Benefits and Policy, Patient Safety, and other meetings.
  • Facilitate conferences for senior leaders, including developing briefings, sustaining group focus, recording tasks and findings, and producing/distributing meeting minutes.
  • Perform studies, analyses, research and recommendations related to new/existing initiatives and applications/systems.
  • Provide technical support, consultation, direction and training to customers involved with patient file related processes to reduce variance, improve accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop, produce and publish performance metrics monthly that reflect work accomplished, quantifiable ROI for the work accomplished, measure progress achieved against established plans/goals and update/share them with the MTFs, MAJCOMs, and other AFMS leadership.
  • Provide services to standardize and improve the Medical Record Tracking, accountability and retirement processes.
  • Other duties as assigned by T&T and Government managers.
 
Position Requirements
  • 10+ years’ relevant experience; with at least 6 years in the AFMS, 4 of which shall be recent (within the past 5 years).
  • 6+ years’ of advanced specific administrative and technical knowledge and experience with CHCS; experience with designing CHCS AdHoc Reports, DoD, TRICARE, and AF information systems such as the DEERS
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills required to interact with all levels within the AF/SG community; ability to deal with people and groups in a courteous and professional manner; organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Access and Power Point applications.
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Local Law and Credit (NACLC) security investigation/clearance and obtain an Automated Data Processing (ADP)/IT-II Trustworthiness Determination.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired. Ability to obtain credential within 12 months on contract if not currently PMP certified.
