Digital Coordinator 

Description

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences invites applications from experienced and creative individuals for the position of Digital Coordinator. The Digital Coordinator will work in-house at the Academy, under the direct supervision of the Sr. Digital Media Manager, as part of the Digital department, and in support of several departments within the organization, including the Creative team.

The Digital Coordinator will organize and track projects through the editorial and production timeline. This role will coordinate resources between departments and also represent the digital team in internal and external meetings. The ideal candidate has a passion for metrics and will be the lead pulling analytics for online content, ad campaigns and partner relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with senior team, internal departments and external partners concerning coordination of year-round Academy programs
  • Track content through pitch, development, production and post-production phases
  • Track the success of online content
  • Track budgets and invoices throughout the year
  • Establish metrics and tracking methods for digital initiatives and evangelize the learnings from these internally
  • Liaise with partners and ABC in support of digital initiatives for the Oscars
  • Support the Digital, Editorial and Creative teams as needed
 
Position Requirements
  • At least 3 years of digital media or publishing experience
  • Bachelors degree in a related field of study
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive, with ability to juggle many balls in fast-paced digital publishing environment
  • Expert in respective strengths of (and differences between) all major social media networks/platform
  • Competency in online analytics; specifically Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and Twitter Analytic
  • A fanatical obsession with proper spelling, grammar and punctuation
