Matheson Flight Extenders is hiring a Administrative Assistant in our Warehouse at our Portland, OR location.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative, project, and support to the department as well as overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the office. The Administrative Assistant will serve as the principle point of administrative contact and liaison with internal and external constituencies and will provide administrative support services in various areas as assigned.
Copies data and compiles records and reports.
Tabulates and posts data in record books.
Operates computer to input and retrieve data.
Operates office machines such as computer, adding, calculating, and duplicating machines
Greets and assists visitors.
Answer single or multi-line phone system.

Advanced skills in MS Excel
Knowledge of MS Office suite
Working knowledge of MS Outlook
Experience with Ezy Freight and Cargo Spot software is preferred
Possess strong attention to detail
Possess organizing and coordinating skills
Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues
Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects
Knowledge of office administrative principles and procedures
Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software
Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration.
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, typewriters, calculators, copiers and facsimile machines.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions

- INTERNATIONAL CARGO EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
