Share Email Opening Title SBA Portfolio Manager  Category Operations   Description Summary: Provides daily servicing of loans guaranteed by U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to ensure compliance with SBA regulatory guidelines and bank lending policies and practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Reviews loan documentation including any modifications and amendments to assess loan quality. Conducts pre-closing and post-closing audits. Provides timely and adequate notice to SBA on past due loans to protect the SBA Guarantee. Assists in clearing financial and collateral exceptions that affect the SBA Guarantee. Works with bank lenders, providing guidance on deteriorating performance on SBA borrowers, which may require site visits and joint calls with bank lenders. Works closely with Credit Transition on SBA loan workouts and liquidations. Provides responses to internal and external examiners. Preforms other assignments as needed. Other Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as required or assigned that are in the spirit of this job description and position as necessary for the Bank and the Department to function effectively.
