We are looking for a hands-on candidate who will help propel our brand to new levels of awareness and preference. The selected candidate will function as a centralized resource for all of Astronics Test Systems, working side-by-side with senior management and multiple product marketing groups to plan and execute a full range of inspired communications. Our disruptive solutions are trusted by technology leaders to improve the performance in the world’s most coveted semiconductor, defense, and commercial aerospace industries.

The successful candidate will bring excellent writing skills and insights to the following duties while building our brand and telling our story in bold and memorable ways:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Marketing communications planning – work with all product marketing groups to plan strategic communications initiatives on an annual basis. Create and manage the marketing calendar.

  • Messaging – work with the product marketing groups and executive leadership to develop messaging frameworks for product and service offerings.

  • Media relations – maintain and grow our PR program with trade press and market analysts, write and distribute press releases, set up press briefings, respond to targeted press opportunities, and identify opportunities for placed articles.

  • Tradeshows and events – bring your best logistics game to plan, manage, and execute a large volume of tradeshows and events, including international.

  • Sales collateral –write and publish technical sales materials including product/solution flyers, PowerPoint presentations, whitepapers, and other materials. Manage translation as needed.

  • Website – write and input content to the corporate CMS system, in collaboration with corporate communications and product marketing groups.

  • Content marketing – plan and create content marketing materials, such as SlideShares, infographics, blog posts, or other materials as defined in marketing plans. Work with the product marketing groups to generate thoughtful, on-topic, strategic content.

  • Ecosystem marketing –strategize, manage, and expand our current ecosystem email marketing efforts to build a world-class program.

  • Demand Generation – drive search and trade ad campaigns in collaboration with the product marketing groups, and create materials for advertising placement.

  • Photo/video – architect video initiatives and manage photo shoots, script storyboards, and oversee the final photo/video creations using multiple vendors.

  • CRM – work within our CRM system to identify and build reports to measure marketing and sales effectiveness, create campaign lists, and other activities.

  • Analytics – employ toolsets to provide a monthly analytics report on global reach, visits, and lead generation.

  • Budgeting – plan and track annual marketing spend, develop ROI metrics as required

  • Work in collaboration with corporate communications as required

 
Position Requirements

Job Specifications:

  • 3-10 years of marketing communications experience, B2B aerospace, semiconductor, or similar hardware technology solutions marketing.

  • Excellent, fast, writing skills on a variety of materials – datasheets, press releases, brochures, video scripting.

  • Demonstrated capability and experience with Microsoft Office, Constant Contact, SalesForce, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adwords.

  • Additional experience with Dynamics, Marketo or other marketing automation/CRM systems preferred.
