SUMMARY
Schedules loan closing and compiles and types closing documents by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reviews approved mortgage loan to determine loan is clear to close, and all conditions that must be met prior to closing, such as purchase of private mortgage insurance, have been satisfied.
Calls borrower, real estate broker, and title company to request specified documents, such as receipt for payment of outstanding tax bill or insurance.
Calls borrower, broker, and other specified individuals to arrange time and date for closing.
Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents, such as title abstract and insurance forms.
Answers questions regarding closing requirements.
Facilitates completion of any necessary loan lock or lock extension agreements.
Updates LOS and enters any necessary corrections to produce accurate closing documents.
Assembles completed documents for delivery to title company, real estate broker, or lending officer for closing.
Reviews transferred HMDA data from LOS to servicing system to confirm accuracy. Makes any necessary corrections.
Provide documents to Secondary Marketing for review and delivery executions.
Enter wire transfer data into the banks system, complete Journal Voucher, and Wire Instructions for Bank's Accounting Dept.
Provide loan closing documents, wire breakdown from bank system, wire instructions, and journal voucher to Accounting for review.
Deliver final, executed closing package to post-closer.
Assist post-closer in correcting any post closing errors or omissions.
