Koniag Information Security Services is looking for a Moderator Team Lead. This will potentially be a direct, full time position with our company, working at our customer’s site in Baltimore, MD.

The Moderator Team Lead will:

  • Lead the team providing call moderator services for support during select WebEx conferences, leveraging the features of the CUCM solution.
  • Available to join CMS Staff, the SME, and CMS management to review and coordinate call schedule(s), moderator assignments, feedback and strategies.
  • Report out to CMS management as needed.
  • Report to the Project Manager
  • Assist users in establishing their WebEx profile;
  • Identify potential issues with over subscription of conference bridge;
  • Perform tasks for non-moderated conferences such as muting participants, starting and ending conferences;
  • Provide assistance to WebEx users via e-mail, IM or telephone;
  • Provide WebEx scheduling assistance to WebEx users via Outlook.
Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • At least three years managing customer service teams
  • At least five years’ experience in video teleconferencing systems including WEBEX or MS Lync.
  • Moderator Team Lead should have
    • strong business communication skills with strong verbal communications to interface effectively
    • strong customer service and must be able to effectively conduct and interpret tests
    • ability to troubleshoot solutions of highly complex operational problems while being detailed oriented and organized
    • ability to understand WebEx systems, ensure accuracy of work while being able to identify and resolve problems or inadequacies of systems operations.
  • Experience with Cisco Conference Manager, Microsoft Office Outlook and MS Lync / SFB and Jabber.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
