Account Setup Coordinator (Installation Services)

The Account Setup Coordinator is responsible for day to day interactions with customers implementing new Shift4 accounts, or making modifications to existing Shift4 accounts. They are tasked with completing the collection of merchant setup information, scheduling daily installation appointments and monitoring go live dates to ensure customers are up and processing transactions when needed. The coordinator must also work closely with the Shift4 sales teams and Installation Services technicians to ensure customer work ordered through contracts and contract addendums is completed correctly and quickly.

Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Detail oriented with the ability to properly document case notes in a CRM
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, sending external email is a daily requirement
• Positive attitude a must
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks without management supervision
• Ability to work with customers with varying degrees of computer literacy

Education and Experience:

• Two years' experience in customer service, customer care environment and/or administrative experience
• Knowledge of or experience in the card payment industry is a plus.
• Competent Microsoft Office skills to perform essential daily functions
• Experience using call or case tracking software
• Previous experience working with Property Management software, or POS retail systems a plus
• Project Management skills a plus
• College Degree preferred

Essential Functions:

• The Account Setup Representative is the main point person for new customer implementations
• Complete the collection of merchant setup information
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Daily interaction with customers and vendors to coordinate the scheduling of new and existing account implementations
• Answer customer questions related to the Shift4 implementation process and Shift4 products
• Manage scheduling conflicts or appointment cancellations by rescheduling existing appointments
• Work closely with Installation Technicians to insure install and training appointments are properly completed
• Insure Shift4 Installation paperwork and CRM case notes are accurate
• Keep abreast of our solutions' new features, functionality, and installation procedures
• Identify and engage unsatisfied customers to provide opportunities for a more positive customer service experience.
• Follow established guidelines, protocols, and practices; provide professional representation of the company.
• Provide updates and reports to management on an ongoing basis.
• Must be detailed and accurate in all work performed.
• Keep abreast of our solutions new features, functionality, and installation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with other groups, departments, clients, and partners.
• Ability to accept criticism and to deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
• Adaptability and flexibility to considerable variety in the workplace.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
