Summary: Under minimal supervision and using average manual dexterity, performs varied semi-skilled assembly tasks and simple soldering tasks necessary to produce a product by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assembles and/or packages various types of electronic products using production equipment, various hand tools and/or machines.
Reads blueprints, parts lists and/or other documentation to determine parts needed and assembly sequence
Performs repetitive-type movements to assemble products
Performs crimping as needed
Performs all product sequences in one cell/product
Is cross-trained to perform at least one sequence in second cell/product
Follows verbal and written instructions
Performs basic setup and operation of basic production equipment or machines
Ability to perform resistance or spot welding
Ability to perform basic computer skills (preferred)
Works within company guidelines including but not limited to what is outlined in the Employee Handbook, Core Values, Safety Manual, OSHA Safety rules, Insider Trading, Conduct and Ethics and Anti-discrimination policies

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or (GED) required. Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Productivity/Efficiency:
Ability to be efficient and meet production expectations consistently
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents written in English such as work instructions, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
