Bottling Maintenance Parts Coordinator 

Description

JOB STATEMENT: Use IFS, our Enterprise Assist Management software, in the ordering, receiving and organization of all parts for production and facility equipment. Perform regular inventory counts to keep inventory levels properly filled. Make updates to IFS inventory control settings as directed by your Maintenance Manager.. Maintain the IFS work order and Preventive Maintenance programs by regularly generating, printing, reporting program related documentation.

Essential Duties:

  • Understand and comply with all ISO 9001, HACCP and GMP requirements and processes
  • Must use the IFS Enterprise Asset Management Module to maintain Maintenance, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Preventive Maintenance, and Work Orders
  • Must learn about the basic components and functions of all equipment
  • Must have good Microsoft and computer knowledge
  • Must be able to write SOP’s
  • Must read and understand equipment manuals
  • Must be able to operate a Forklift
  • Work with outside vendors and equipment suppliers to maintain inventory
  • Follow proper purchasing procedures like acquiring authorization before buying
  • Work with facility purchasing agent to ensure all purchase orders are properly closed
  • Receive, check-in, and deliver all parts, supplies, and materials to appropriate locations or persons
  • Help maintain clean parts storage and shop areas
  • Communicate with Supervisors, Upper Management, and Co-workers
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by your Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

  • Previous Coordinator experience
  • Previous experience in wine industry or production

Knowledge of:

  • IFS equipment, part, location and work order numbering systems
  • basic components and functions of all equipment

Ability to:

  • Must be able to operate a Forklift
  • Must be able to work independently of direct supervision
  • Work effectively and remain calm in all situations
  • Able to work any shift and rotate between facilities as directed by Supervisor
  • Be an active member of the safety team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work in awkward positions (kneeling, lying down or squatting)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Your work area is the Bottling maintenance mezzine, there will be a desk/work station assigned for you.
  • Indoor climate

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

  • Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facility
