Description

Currently we are looking to add a UX/UI Designer to our team within our Corporate office in Clayton, Missouri!

As a User Experience / User Interface Designer, you will create user experiences across all channels and product lines that delight our customers; make our sales and operational processes efficient, predictable, and reliable; and help to make Clearent's brand identity distinct, recognizable, and consistent.

What you'll do:

1. Develop a deep understanding of our different users' needs

  • Conduct or participate in end-user and customer interviews
  • Create designs, wireframes and prototypes that address end-user and customer needs

2. Improve product performance

  • Reduce/minimize time and clicks for users to complete tasks
  • Foster ease of use in Compass to increase repeat users, reduce or eliminate the need for user guides, and reduce support calls related to usability of our site

3. Deliver industry leading quality design work

  • Recommend and implement a set of UX/UI best practices to be used in all product designs
  • Utilize cutting edge technologies and principles to best design Clearent products

4. Increase efficiency of our product development teams

  • Deliver design artifacts for user story requirements complete and on time
  • Work with IT/developers during design review & implementation to decrease development time of user stories related to UX.

 
Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Education – A degree in interaction design, visual design, or equivalent is a plus
  • 5+ Years’ Work Experience creating user interface design in web and mobile app experiences
  • Demonstrated Design Expertise – Is a recognized expert in UX/UI Design (to be considered for this position, please provide a link to your online portfolio)
  • Knowledge of Design Tools & Languages, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator), Origami, Invision, HTML, CSS
  • Agile Methodology – Has hands-on experience with Agile development processes (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban) and is comfortable working within the software development lifecycle
