Location North Risk Partners - C.O. Brown Division (Red Wing)  
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Description

Summary: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers of small to mid-sized businesses by providing exceptional service and industry insight.

Duties:

  • Maintain strong client relationships by delivering quick and accurate responses to service requests in a caring and friendly manner.
  • Receive and process client requests for policy changes and policy-related documents.
  • Analyze quotes from carriers for accuracy
  • Receive and process new business, renewals and cancellations.
  • Leverage value added services available through North Risk Partners (i.e., professional consulting, webinars/seminars, communications and Zywave tools).
  • Attend and actively participate in agency service training meetings.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with partner insurance carriers.
  • Enter client activity and other relevant information into the company’s software system(s).
  • Continue professional development by pursuing and maintaining professional designations.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate’s degree will be considered
  • Computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook)
  • Basic math skills (e.g., adding/subtracting, calculating percentages)
  • Knowledge and experience with customer service practices (e.g., phone and interpersonal skills)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills
  • Works well in teams
  • Attention to detail and the ability to plan and organize accordingly
  • Working knowledge of commercial insurance policy forms, coverage and company software programs (i.e., Vertafore products – AMS, BenefitPoint, Worksmart) preferred, but not required
