Description

Assist in providing system administration services to support the installed hardware and software at the Primary and Backup sites.

Tasks Include:

Install and maintain web applications hosted on MS Windows servers. This includes IIS6, IIS8, Application Resource Routing, .NET framework, Encryption, Network Load Balancing and other web related processes.

Complete buildup of all Windows server infrastructure to include, but not limited to, Standalone servers, Domain controllers, Member servers, Failover Cluster Servers, and all related software for the continuing operation of the system.

Advanced design and troubleshooting of DNS and DNS related systems (Windows and non-Windows DNS servers)

Server troubleshooting, management, backup, and routine hardware and software maintenance.

Support development efforts, security patch testing and installation, testing, and configuration management tasks.

Maintain PKI infrastructure on systems, requests new certificates, creates certificates for installation.

Troubleshoot Active Directory/Group Policy issues, plans and implements Group Policy Objects.

Correct issues within Group Policy objects and maintains the normal health of Active Directory.

Work with approving authorities in the change management process, submitting system changes and then implementing those changes.

Work with the information assurance section on system hardening, including data loss prevention, anti-virus protection, DoD STIGing of server and workstations and other process used in system hardening.

Install, maintain, and repair workstation and peripheral devices. This includes hardware replacement, software installation and preventive maintenance. Devices include workstations, monitors and printers.

Maintain and update Personnel Recovery Mission Software (PRMS) onsite documentation and provide the red lined documents to the Government.

 
Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field; or Associate's Degree and five (5) years IT related experience.

Minimum of five (5) years working in an IT or related field.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Windows based hardware and software server environment, Windows Server 2012, DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), or Risk Management Framework (RMF) MD3000 or MD 3600 storage, NAS and SAN Storage array configuration, troubleshooting, and administration, Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) arrays, Backup Exec, MS Structured Query Language (SQL) servers, Internet Information Services (IIS), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, Domain Name System (DNS), McAfee Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Cisco switch/router, Firewall.

Minimum of five (5) years DoD, or other Government Agency experience.

Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI for server room access.

Meet IAT Level 2 Certification requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.
