Due to tremendous growth, we are looking to add Account Executives- Field Sellers throughout the United States. The Account Executive will work proactively to identify and develop new clients within their territory by providing industry-leading solutions in the Automatic ID and Data Capture space.

Primary responsibilities include developing new business leads, managing onsite customer implementations, and supporting the customer’s ongoing project needs. The role objective is to drive successful customer experience outcomes through technology consultation and sales where onsite engagement is required to develop and win the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitability and grow revenue for territory accounts
  • Develop partnerships with Vendor Field Sales Representatives and optimize the joint selling opportunities within the territory
  • Managing a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise customers in the assigned territory
  • Developing a foundational knowledge of Barcodes, Inc.’s. products and services
  • Displaying a high-level of critical thinking to speak about and help solve customer business problems
  • Solution selling by consulting customers on business challenges and identifying technologies, software, and services to address these challenges
  • Resolving immediate on-site customer issues
  • Developing an excellent understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the competition and developing strategies to gain market share

Qualifications:

  • A highly driven and enthusiastic sales professional
  • Strong in-person sales skills
    • Success in previous technology sales
    • Ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative in a sales engagement
    • Capable of executing and managing multiple tasks/projects
    • Ability to sell hardware, software, and services
    • A proven record of negotiating and securing new business
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
 
Position Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • College degree preferred
  • 8+ years of sales experience
  • Experience uncovering, managing and closing big deals
  • Industry experience- barcoding, RFID, Mobile computing, hardware, data capture
  • Ability to travel to clients within a given territory
