Job Description: Work as part of a tightly knit team to design, develop, implement, and demonstrate advanced algorithms and software systems. Ongoing work includes software for distributed mission planning for both manned and unmanned platforms, social media analytics, graph database relationship inference/discovery, and novel data visualizations to provide decision support to human analysts/planners. Develop a range of software from early prototypes to integrated systems.   Position Requirements Basic Qualifications: A degree in computer science or engineering from a rigorous program Knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Python, C/C++, Docker, Spark, Play, React, Elastic Search, AWS / Cloud Services, and Graph Databases A demonstrated ability to pick up new languages and technologies U.S. Citizenship required, and must have ability to obtain security clearance Desired Qualifications: Scientific programming skills a plus Active Security Clearance   About the Organization Systems & Technology Research (STR) is a rapidly growing technology company with locations north of Boston, MA, Arlington, VA and near Dayton, OH.
