Stanford Federal Credit Union is looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance Analyst with the ability to analyze data and then audit the results, collaborate well with others, and get the job done!

Here’s what you can expect day to day:

In this role you will facilitate two important objectives. The first is to analyze data about the credit union’s products, members, and transactions in order to identify risks or opportunities for improved processes. The second is to audit and ensure the quality and accuracy of those products/transactions/activities as they apply to the credit union’s procedures, policies, and applicable compliance requirements. In the big picture you will be helping to mitigate risk and ensure quality for the company (which is pretty cool). This role is also responsible for various reporting outputs and collaboration with other departments. In short, you’re the QC superhero!

We are making changes to this team and are going to be implementing new procedures, new vendors, and new software, and we want somebody who is excited to help create this new vision of quality assurance. This position reports directly to the Controller and works with another member of the QA team, works closely with compliance department, finance, as well as with nearly every other department in the organization.

Position Requirements

What you’ll bring to the position:

Successful applicants will have completed a college degree and have three or more years in a risk management, internal audit, QC, compliance, or otherwise relevant environment. Must have experience using MS Excel e.g. creating pivot tables, writing stacked formulas, filtering and lookups, etc. The candidate must also be comfortable working with software and learning new programs, processes, as well as rules, regulations, policies, etc. Bonus points for familiarity with financial institution compliance and transactional matters (and/or credit union specifics), and/or for knowledge of data query/analysis techniques/proficiencies.
