Description

The administrative assistant to the head and associate head of school provides professional support. This position requires flexibility, superior organization, and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a team player and self-motivated. The assistant also provides support to the administrative offices, as well as for Advisory Council and Administrative Services Group meetings; and has frequent contact with faculty, staff, parents and students. This position requires good judgement, respect for confidentiality, a collaborative working style and the ability to multi-task.

 
Position Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School degree; Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s degree a plus

  • Three plus years’ of experience providing administrative support to a senior manager is required

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

  • Ability to read and interpret a budget accurately

  • Ability to use file sharing and electronic data storage utilities

  • Experience with institutional databases

  • Excellent verbal, written and problem solving skills

  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • A professional and cheerful disposition with the ability to work with diverse student and adult populations
