Description

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Sr. Financial Analyst, responsible for the gathering and production of various property analyses for timely presentation to management. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Casino's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Responsible for the production of all property financial analysis as requested.
2. Produces market performance and forecasting reports, gaming revenue projections and analysis reports
3. Performs Annual Capital and Operating Budget analysis.
4. Produces reports on long-range financial planning, labor staffing analysis, capital expenditure requests (major and minor), monthly financial reporting and on-demand analysis requests by managers and directors.
5. Creates procedures that will enhance the forecasting of financial performance by coordinating with managers and other departments' team members.
6. Responsible for the accurate and timely communication of plans and forecasts to MCNC Management and the Gaming Operations Authority Board.
7. Compiles and maintains data related to complimentary usage including exception reporting
8. Works with a variety of software applications and financial/accounting management software.
9. Maintains confidentiality and is an outstanding example of and a credit to Muscogee (Creek) Nation Casinos.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Business Management, or related field required; and/or combination of education & experience.

EXPERIENCE
2+ years' relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting with experience in a casino or gaming environment preferred. Prior experience with budgeting, forecasting and analysis preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and accounting concepts and practices required. Experience with Kronos, Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel) and various financial software packages required. Excellent math, statistical, technical skills and attention to detail required. Strong problem solving abilities, including the ability to perform complex tasks required to complete projects. SQL, KCMS, or other Business Intelligence applications preferred.

 
Gaming License Must obtain and maintain a gaming license.
