Throughout your internship you'll be undertaking analyses, building presentations, collaborating internally and externally and assisting in research of opportunities in the digital entertainment industry. Mentored by our experienced managers, your work will contribute to our overall growth, revenue goals and roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business plans and financial models in support of Dolby's process for evaluating new business opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis including metrics such as product and technology offerings, market size and trend, competitive landscape and business models. Synthesize information from various sources to support the business analyses.
  • Derive trends from existing data sources to trends from market data analysis to exploring marketing and monetization strategies.
  • Create financial models based on market analyses and Dolby's corporate objectives.
  • Develop clear and concise documents and presentations that articulate business analyses and recommendations for review by management
  • Additional activities could include facilitation and participation in meetings and discussions across departments and with 3rd parties.
 
Position Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or other related field
  • Demonstrable understanding of the business and technology landscape of digital entertainment
  • Passion to thoroughly examine a given content terrain, developing expertise to distill and report on key messages
  • Experience acquiring and distilling large amounts of quantitative and/or qualitative data into relevant insight
  • Strong finance, analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as appropriate; be an aggressive, competitive, entrepreneur and a team player at the same time
  • Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
