Loss Prevention Agent

Position Summary:

The Loss Prevention Agent reports directly to the Loss Prevention Manager. A Loss Prevention Agent is responsible for identifying and apprehending shoplift suspects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in investigations of internal employee theft.
  2. Surveillance of subjects, employees and company facilities, as directed by Loss Prevention Manager and supervisor.
  3. Conduct Store Inspections, to identify security, safety and maintenance problems, inside and outside store locations.
  4. To observe and report any activity that could cause loss to company assets.
  5. Conduct Receiver and Vendor Audits when assigned.

Requirements

  1. Security, Loss Prevention / Asset Protection experience.
  2. Knowledge of arrest, search and seizure laws.
  3. All agents are expected to obey all federal, state, and local laws or community practices.
  4. Valid Driver License a Must
  5. Must be 21 and over
