Purpose

LaForce is looking for a Security Integration Sales Representative to cover the territory of WI, IN, and IL to sell commercial access control, video surveillance, and other security products and services to education, healthcare, private business, and industrial establishments.

Major Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with SI Operations Manager and other members of the SI Dept on products, systems, methods, and best practices for products and services to be sold
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Internet Web sites, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, , and other sources
  • Researches prospects in advance to qualify and prioritize them before initial sales contact
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, meet with customers at their place of business or at the LaForce office, communicate via email, or talk with customers by phone.
  • Display and demonstrate products using samples, electronic/digital resources, and marketing literature emphasizing salable features
  • Contact Vendors to check availability of products and communicate with inside sales staff and customers about updates

Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University or at least 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Direct sales experience with Security Industry products is preferred
  • Experience/familiarity with basic Information Technology (IT), Networking, Public Safety, and Physical Security concepts is beneficial
  • Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
