Redhorse Corporation provides integrated services to the environmental, energy and infrastructure sectors. We serve a broad range of clients in government and industry, implementing complex projects from initial concept to delivery and operation.

We are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Program Manager/Business Leader with experience that encompasses environmental compliance, management, restoration, health and safety (EHS) management and sustainability. This position will work with other senior consultants to lead program execution and business development efforts through proven seller-doer skills and client relationships. He/she will be in the San Antonio area and report to the Vice President of Environmental Services. This is a senior-level position. The travel commitment for this position is expected to be about 25%. Candidates for relocation will be considered.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Manage a variety of environmental programs for Federal agency customers including Department of Defense installation restoration, BRAC and NEPA programs.
  • Provide program team direction, coordination, and implementation of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, goals, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with the development and implementation of sector wide business development strategies and position the company for new opportunities with both existing and new customers
  • Manage sales and business development efforts within their existing professional network with a focus on securing work within environmental management and compliance, as well as the broader range of environmental services offered by Redhorse
  • Champion qualified proposal efforts and develop cost estimates
  • Monitor programs for contract compliance and financial performance
  • Recruit and mentor new team members
  • Serve as a technical subject matter resource and lead in qualified areas of the Environmental Sector
 
Position Requirements

Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or a science degree in a similar area of study (Master’s Degree Preferred)
  • 10-15 years of clearly demonstrated experience in environmental programs, staff management and job costing/profitability and a minimum of 5-years in a client management capacity
  • Certifications and/or licenses appropriate to education and experience
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of Environmental Policy and Regulations to include but not limited to NEPA, RCRA, CERCLA, and ISO 14001 with a working knowledge of the Endangered Species Act, the National Historical Preservation Act, and the National Register of Historic Places.
  • Self-discipline, self-motivation and the ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent communications skills (written and oral) with outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience within all levels of our client’s organization
  • Ability to write reports, present findings and manage projects while working on multiple assignments
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) Preferred
