Description

Summary: Responsible for the coordination of quality controls reviews performed by a third party. Analyzes third party audit reports and findings and maintains the management reporting system of those findings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Analyzes quality control reports from third party vendors and maintains reporting system to Senior Management on both prefund and post-close audit findings.

  • Manage the process of reviews performed by third party.This includes the file transfers, mitigation of deficiencies within limited timelines provided.

  • Performs or aids in performing the required audit of the third party vendor that performs the post close reviews within the required timelines.

  • Review any loans with early payment defaults for quality control with investor and underwriting guidelines.

  • Analyzes repurchase demands from Investors for possible challenge and work on possible Indemnifications for potential challenge within limited timelines provided.

  • Approve appraisers for use by appraisal management companies after review.

  • Analyzes investor appraiser exclusionary lists and maintains approved panel of appraisers with AMC

  • Works with Investors on any missing documentation or QC file requests.

  • Reviews and maintains QC manual to ensure compliance with Investors.

  • Assists Compliance Department with internal projects related to Home Lending, or other lending strategic objectives.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

    Perform other related duties as required or assigned that are in the spirit of this job description and position as necessary for the Bank and the Department to function effectively.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Employees in this position do not currently supervise employees.
