Description

Make an impact in the lives of mothers and their children by becoming part of our Believe.Belong.Become culture at Family Endeavors & its Fairweather Lodge Program (FFL) as a Facility Monitor for our Woman's Residential Facility.

FFL provides case management, life skills training, employment assistance, educational help and other supportive service assists women with mental illness and their children in an apartment style campus.

2 Shifts Currently Available:

  • 1 opening for an Afternoon Monitor; Mon-Wed, 3pm-730pm, Thr-Fri, 230pm-730pm; hourly pay of $9.00
  • 1 opening for an On-Call Monitor; Available for any shift, Mon-Fri, 5pm-8am; Sat & Sun 830am-830pm; hourly pay of $10.00
    • Work Location: Near 410 & Highway 90
    • Start Date: Immediate start date

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective, trusting relationships with mothers and their children.
  • Provide crisis intervention, support, guidance and mediation services to residents.
  • Generally support clients as they learn skills necessary to live in the community.
  • Enforce rules consistently and fairly.
  • Participate in the daily operations of the program.
  • Assist in involving clients in daily activities – facilitating socialization, community and facility upkeep. Also includes occasional monitoring of the residents children while they are in house meetings, training, group etc
  • Supervise/monitor any social or training functions when taking place in facility.
  • Oversee medications of mother and her children if directed by supervisor.
  • Monitor facility, chores, curfew, cooking and visitors or unauthorized individuals on parameter, sign in/out log and security cameras.
  • Documentation of clear, precise progress notes of your shift.
  • Transport moms to and from designated locations (depends on shift and if it is needed)/MUST also have Clear Driving Record
 
Position Requirements

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Applicants MUST be female due to onsite observed urine drug screening
  • Must be committed and able to work schedule assigned
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • 1 yr exp in mental health/social services/care giver field preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge preferred

 
Salary/Wage $9 - $10.00 per hour depending on shift
