Winch / Heavy Haul Truck Driver

This position is guaranteed pay of 40 hours a week!


Applies to all activities and guidelines for operations performed by the Truck Driver. Drives diesel powered semi- trailer combination to transport and deliver products, or materials in loose or packaged form by performing the following duties. This job description shall be reviewed on a regular basis.


  • Inspects truck for defects before and after trips submits reports indicating truck condition.
  • Ensure equipment is properly secured when hauling.
  • Pick up and deliver material from approved vendors.
  • Pick up and deliver equipment at approved painter locations.
  • Pick up and deliver equipment to and from rig moves.
  • Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations.
  • Assists workers in loading and unloading truck.
  • Other tasks may be assigned.


  • Ensure each driver has the correct permit for the load.the equipment is secured when hauling.
  • Accurate and timely completion of dMaintain drriver logs for DOT compliance and company policy.


Position Requirements


Experience: Two (2) years of verifiable experience operating Class A commercial motor vehicles

Education: High School education or equivalent

Oil and Gas industry experience preferred

Motor vehicle record qualifies individual to be an approved candidate


Candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. Orion Drilling Company offers excellent compensation and benefits package.
