Manages Accounting Manager who supervises a total of 10-15 employees in the Accounting Department in addition to Senior Accountants. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, or appropriate discipline; plus five or more years relevant ski resort or equivalent managerial experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents and basic contracts. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Order processing systems; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Good working knowledge of MS Excel is required.
Other Skills and Abilities
Excellent planning, organizational, administrative, personnel and budget management skills. Expert working knowledge of Excel. Very strong interpersonal skills. Ability to represent the company and deal effectively with a wide range of company personnel as well as firms/organizations/individuals outside the company; good formal and informal negotiating skills.
Broad and in-depth knowledge and skills in business accounting and finance, including budgeting, cash management and audit procedures. Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
