Description

Job Description:

  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Perform and/or reconcile periodic inventory counts

  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries

  • Generate financial reports using an integrated system

  • Perform special projects as needed

  • Research and resolve outstanding checks

  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

  • Analyze financial results, including comparisons to forecasted results and trended results

  • Prepare periodic tax filings

  • Assist with the preparation of other reports provided to management

  • Assist with year-end financial audit

  • Compile annual financial budget

  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the business

  • Review accounts payable voucher transactions

  • Keep up regular attendance and punctuality.Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of the company.
     

 
Position Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting or Bachelors degree in Accounting

  • Possess a minimum of four to six years work experience

  • Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data

  • Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets

  • Must be skilled in use of MS Word. Must have excellent verbal and communication skills

  • Must have excellent work ethic, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures

  • Familiarity with Epicor, MS Outlook, and FRx (Preferred but not required)
